This is a binaural recording of an electronic composition in 6th-order ambisonics and 3D VBAP, projected through a 49.4 loudspeaker system. Captured using a 3Dio binaural microphone, this recording is a rendering of what a listener hears sitting in the center of the loudspeaker system.

synth-pulse-voice (2021) is a celebration of the synthetic, the organic, and the dynamic. It is a sonic choreography in virtual space. The ambisonics and 3D VBAP spatialization techniques are most commonly used for the reproduction of real-life, three-dimensional acoustic environments, frequently used in applications such as augmented reality or virtual reality. This work, however, dwells almost exclusively in the synthetic. It aims to create a visceral and bodily experience through electronically-generated sounds, incessant rhythms, and fragments of the human voice.
